This is the best sangria I’ve ever had! It’s based on a Real Simple recipe, but I invented my own little trick for making it completely local, tastier, and eliminating an ingredient (ice)…
INGREDIENTS
-1 bottle (local) medium-bodied red wine like Rioja
-3 cups apple cider (Minea Farms!)
-Instead of ice and fresh fruit, use frozen fruit you got from the farmer’s market last summer! It chills the sangria just like ice would, and it’s more delicious than fresh fruit from Mexico that’s not really in season or very ripe!
DIRECTIONS
1. Pour bottle of wine into nice pitcher.
2. Pour 3 cups delicious apple cider into same pitcher.
3. Put as much frozen fruit as you want into same pitcher.

Drink up!
